Winemaker Billy Smith is the mastermind behind Warehouse Winery’s award-winning wines. He poured his heart and soul into the wine industry, and because of his desire and passion for crafting exceptional experiences, he established Warehouse Winery. It is this desire and passion that propelled him to establish a one-of-a-kind winery that serves as a gateway for delightful and captivating experiences. Billy’s venture began with a small plantation of over 400 cold-climate Marquette grape vines at his home. He acquired the unique art of crushing and fermenting the locally grown cold-climate grapes that formed the foundation of Warehouse Winery’s distinctive wines.
We pay homage to traditions influenced by the rich winemaking heritage of Georgia. Billy’s commitment to excellence and underlying passion for innovation garnered a huge loyal following, with each bottle bearing the mark of his devotion to his craft.
